How Atlarix works in Slack
1
Ask in Slack
Mention @Atlarix in a channel or DM it: acme/web: fix the flaky login test. The first time, it sends a button to connect your Atlarix account.
2
It works in your GitHub Actions
Atlarix starts a workflow in that repository's own GitHub Actions. The agent reads the code, makes the change and runs your tests on your runner.
3
Approve in the thread
The pull request comes back in the same thread with what changed and why. Approve & merge merges it, and only the person who asked can press it.

What is Atlarix for Slack?
Atlarix for Slack lets your team ask an AI coding agent for changes to a GitHub repository from Slack. Mention @Atlarix or DM it with a repository and a task; it does the work in the repository's own GitHub Actions and replies in the thread with a pull request and an Approve & merge button.
How much does Atlarix for Slack cost?
Atlarix for Slack is a paid feature. It runs on Atlarix models, Atlarix Auto by default or any Atlarix Core model, and the usage is billed to the Atlarix balance of the person who asked. Atlarix Pro ($19 a month) includes monthly usage, and credit tops it up. The runner is your GitHub Actions minutes, free on public repositories. To run on your own API key, start the task at atlarix.dev/cloud instead.
Who can approve and merge what Atlarix does?
Only the person who asked. Each person connects their own Atlarix account once, on atlarix.dev, so work is billed to whoever asked, and a teammate in the same channel cannot start work on someone else's account or approve someone else's pull request. Nothing merges without that approval.
What can the Atlarix Slack app read?
Only messages addressed to it: direct messages to Atlarix and messages that mention @Atlarix. It does not read other channel messages or channel history. Removing the app from a workspace deletes that workspace's stored data and everyone's connection.
What do I need to set up?
Add Atlarix to your Slack workspace, install the Atlarix Cloud Agent GitHub App on the repositories it may work on, and merge the workflow file it proposes in a pull request (.github/workflows/atlarix.yml). An Atlarix account with Pro or credit pays for the work.
Atlarix for Slack is part of the Atlarix cloud agent. Read how the app handles Slack data in the privacy policy, or write to support@atlarix.dev.
