Atlarix cloud agent

An AI coding agent that works while your computer is off

The Atlarix cloud agent takes a request from Slack or the web, does the work in your repository’s own GitHub Actions, and brings back a pull request. Nothing merges until the person who asked approves it.

How the Atlarix cloud agent works

    1

    Ask

From Slack (DM Atlarix: acme/web: add rate limiting to the login endpoint) or at atlarix.dev/cloud. Choose the model: Atlarix Auto, any paid Atlarix Core model, or your own API key.

    2

It works in your GitHub Actions

Atlarix starts a workflow in that repository's own GitHub Actions. The agent reads the code, makes the change and runs your tests there, on your runner, with your repository's setup.

    3

    A pull request comes back

You get a pull request with what changed and why, in Slack or on the dashboard. Approve & merge merges it; your existing deploy pipeline takes it from there.

    Atlarix in Slack

Add Atlarix to your Slack workspace and ask in a DM or by mentioning it in a channel: acme/web: fix the flaky login test. A model in brackets picks it for that run, for example [core-2] or [byok]. Atlarix answers in the thread when it starts and again with the pull request, with an Approve & merge button that only the person who asked can press.

Work is billed to the Atlarix account linked to the person who asked; the first time, Atlarix sends a button to link it.

    What it costs

On your own API key a run is free: you pay your model provider directly. On an Atlarix model (Atlarix Auto, which picks the model for each step, or any paid Atlarix Core model) the usage is billed to your Atlarix balance, from Pro’s included usage or credit. The runner is your GitHub Actions minutes, free on public repositories.

The first time, it asks you to connect your Atlarix account. It replies in the thread with the pull request and an Approve & merge button.

How much does the Atlarix cloud agent cost?

On your own API key it is free: you pay your model provider directly. Is it safe to let an AI agent change my repository?

It never merges on its own: the person who asked approves every pull request. No secret is added to your repository; the runner proves where it runs with GitHub's OIDC token. The agent's model access lasts for one job, and the credential that can push is fetched only after the agent has finished, for that one repository.

What does the Atlarix cloud agent need to be installed?

The Atlarix Cloud Agent GitHub App on the repositories it may work on, and a workflow file it adds for you in a pull request (.github/workflows/atlarix.yml). Slack is optional. Repositories whose tests need setup can add .atlarix/cloud-setup.sh.

It runs the Atlarix CLI through the open-source Atlarix agent GitHub Action.
